[opensuse-kde] Kmail encryption doesn't work
Hello all, I just tryed to write an encrypted mail with kmail, bud kmail says that the mail couldn't be created. No more information. Strange: signing with the same gpg key works... I believe you've received an encrypted mail from me... If so, It Works For Me™ ;-) (latest KDE:Current)

Yes, I received the mail. It is a little bit confusing to me, because KMail do not gives a usable error message if I try to send a mail. Just "Allgemeiner Fehler" "General Failure". Nothing more. Do you have any advises where I can search for a better error description? A Log file or something else. Pfff, I have no idea, tbh, sorry... Is KGPG working properly, perhaps?

Maybe there is something in ~/.xsession_errors Regards mararm -- Your nature demands love and your happiness depends on it. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org

Hi Sebastian, you can try to log the output of the encryption process to see if there are any errors. To do so, use "Extras -> GnuPG-Protokollanzeige" in KMail and then try to encrypt your mail. You should get some output in the "KWatchGnuPG" window. But I don't know if it's useful. Sorry for the German menu titles, but I don't have the English ones at hand.
