Hi, After upgrading to KDE 3.3.0 via apt dist-upgrade, I can no longer use accents in Lyx (neither in KOffice): they're now treated as letters. Instead of accents in French or Spanish words, KMail now shows two empty boxes in incoming e-mails. However, I can still type accents in OOffice and Abiword. I have not touched the keyboard settings, neither in Yast nor in KDE's Control Center. Help will be greatly appreciated. Pablo
Arf :/ Works for me :( Are you using Suse 9.1 or 9.0? 9.1 for me. http://l3lx202.univ-lille3.fr/~bellegarde/accents.png Cedric. Le Mercredi 25 Août 2004 15:06, Pablo Ortúzar a écrit :

Thanks. SuSE 9.1 Pro. In other places, I've seen quite a few mails pointing to the same problem. Have you done apt dist-upgrade recently?
I am using qt3 from kde-unstable to remove task bar bug. and i have rebuild some kde packages, --force to install because conflict with kdebase-SuSE :( http://l3lx202.univ-lille3.fr/~bellegarde/i586/ Le Mercredi 25 Août 2004 17:42, Pablo Ortúzar a écrit :
