[opensuse-kde] kappfinder
Hi Mates, I just would ask, if in KDE4 exists kappfinder? Would like to add an Application to the KMenü -- Sincerely yours Sascha Manns openSUSE Ambassador (ZoneCoordinator Europe, Middle East and Africa) openSUSE Marketing Team openSUSE Build Service openSUSE Features Screening Team Web: http://saschamanns.gulli.to Project-Blog: http://lizards.opensuse.org/author/saigkill Private-Blog: http://saschasbacktrace.blogspot.com

I don't even know kappfinder. But you can edit the menu with kmenuedit. Isn't that what you want? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org

There used to be an application to search for applications to add to the menu. Regards Dave P -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org

If i create an new Element, and go to apply, i see an Popupbox who says me, that the System goes to updating. But after 5 Min. he is not ready. So i thought it is easier with kappfinder. So i think my only chance for me is to create an own *.desktop File. Where must i place it? -- Sincerely yours

If you are thinking of KDE for opensuse 11.2 its pretty much worse as it keeps being like this for moire than some hours now and well doesnt stop. But I never had a problem with it in KDE on Opensuse 11.1 but it does take time to register all the apps in the list just normal. Maybe you can look at the code if there is a failure you might can debug.
