filtering exe attachments in kmail
hi, is there a way I can filter emails that have an exe attachment and move them to the trash in kmail ? I am getting several emails a week with some kind of windows virus. I use spamassassin and am very happy with it. One thing is to make sure you configure whitelist_from for mailing lists and things you are sure are okay. I simply set KMail to check with me before downloading any messages greater than 100k in size. My intent wasn't virus filtering, but I've noticed that this has effectively caught almost every single virus message (in the last three months). That would catch just a very small percent of the messages I get. Typically they are just a few Kb HTML files or straight text. Since I get a lot of valid unsolicated email (because of my web site, see below), I cannot always tells just from the subject or from if the email is legitimate.
