[opensuse-kde] Fix for plastique bug
Hi, Last time I fixed the bug, Ismail reverted it shortly after because it caused black windows for some. I reviewed the patch and I can only see a very small chance it can generate any kind of problem, so I enabled it again. Be warned - I have not a single problem, but I run factory. When I run, kdesu <program> programs don't always run with the patch. There is also no error message lists in the terminal. I don't know if this is related, but I though I'd flag everyone. When I run a program as a normal user, the program runs. For example try, kdesu amarok kdesu firefox Amarok as root does not work, but firefox as root does work. Both as normal user do work.

I get this in the xterm window: unnamed app(4935): KUniqueApplication: Cannot find the D-Bus session server: "Using X11 for dbus-daemon autolaunch was disabled at compile time, set your DBUS_SESSION_BUS_ADDRESS instead" unnamed app(4934): KUniqueApplication: Pipe closed unexpectantly.

This has nothing to do with my patch I would say, what makes you believe my patch creates the problem? kdesu konsole doesn't work on my 11.4 here either and my 11.4 has the unpatched libqt4. But I'll enable X11 autolaunch in dbus and we should be fine for 12.1 Greetings, Stephan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org

Thanks, I just jumped to conclusion unfortunately.
