I've been getting some photoshop files from a MAC user for a project I'm working on, but I can't open in Kmail. If I switch over to my windows box, they open fine. What am I missing? Thanks for the help
Hi, At first save attached photoshop .psd file. Start Gimp then open saved photoshop file. This is most the fastest and easiest way to handle .psd file on Suse.

That's what I'm doing, but they wouldn't open. It really doesn't give me a good reason. If, instead of getting as an email attachment, they upload them to an ftp site, when I open the files they work fine. Thanks, On Monday 20 October 2003 10:11 pm, Shigeo Honda wrote:

I see your problem. Check how your co-worker send attached .psd file mail to you. If he/she uses 'AppleDouble' encode, change to MIME encode. I guess the .psd file you recived contains both resorce and data folk, so that you can not open with Gimp. Force file only contains data folk.

Well, if she uses 'Mail' appilication that comes with OS X, I recommend to try other mail application such as 'Edura'.
