[opensuse-kde] policikit and the hell
Hi All, policikit drives me crazy lately... i am on kde unstable like... system and any operation that requires authorisation I cannot do mainly due to the fact that regardless of what password I supply to policicykit (user or root) it does not accept it... keeps asking me for password. any thoughts? I would prefer not to delete the presets supplied or to overwrite them by local settings to stop asking me for password... They are not as unlucky as me... they are just upset for the thing not remembering the password... for me is even worst... it keeps asking me for the password... like the password I supplied is wrong... I used the workaround suggested in the bug in the past.. but I am kind of fedup having to altermy local settings all the time I need to do something because some paranoid default security policy. Then *why* are you using "unstable"? -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA HOG # US1244711 http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://counter.li.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org
