[opensuse-kde] Why is krunner responsible for locking the screen?
With KDE SC 4.9 ksmserver was supposed to handle screen locking. When I upgraded to KDE 4.9.1 I found that krunner is again handling screen locking. How come? To me the former behaviour makes more sense but out of curiosity i'd like to know why was this reverted (or is this a bug?) That you would have to ask the KDE developers, i.e. kde-devel@kde.org. openSUSE is packaging KDE, not developing. Sven -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org

Upstream didn't implement the feature for 4.9 yet - the patch is not yet merged: https://git.reviewboard.kde.org/r/106124/ Will -- Will Stephenson, openSUSE Board, Booster, KDE Developer SUSE LINUX GmbH, GF: Jeff Hawn, Jennifer Guild, Felix Imendörffer, HRB 21284 (AG Nürnberg) Maxfeldstraße 5 90409 Nürnberg Germany -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org
Was https://projects.kde.org/projects/kde/kde-workspace/repository/revisions/095...
reverted at some point? Or am I misinterpreting something in the
message?
