--====================== David, I suspect you have gotten all the files that SuSE has to offer right now from their sites. If you want to upgrade to the complete KDE3.1, then you will have to download all the files normally from one of www.kde.org's mirror sites and run rpm -Uhv like the rest of us have had to do. I don't think SuSE is going to offer the full packages right away, so that is why you only got the nine files. Hi David, instead of using a paket-management originally used by another distro I would try the "normal" rpm-upgrade: rpm -Uvh libart_lgpl*rpm rpm -Fvh *rpm It seems as the apt-get for SuSE isn't installing the kde-packages in the right order. Daniel

It has nothing to do with installing pkgs in the right order. In this case it is a packaging bug. The packages should have been provided with OBSOLETE and PROVIDES information. However, I don't consider this to be harmfull anyway with just such a huge amount of packages! -- Richard Bos Without a home the journey is endless
