I see the same. And was wondering. I see a breadcrumb trail along the head of the menu and have been using that. That's what i'm see too But to go back over breadcumb is not so intuitive and fast as go back over left arrow. Is there a change to bring back the openSUSE alternative?

I also am wondering about the missing arrow, breadcrumbs are fine, but require moving the mouse further than the previous method slowing down the users work flow. Is there a way to turn the arrow back on? And yes I also use other methods, but If I choose to use the (kickoff) menu, it should not get in my way. It took a long time for me to move to kickoff from the traditional menu.

I could go into a rant, but time is limited :-)

BTW thank you all KDE related developers and packagers for your hard work, although I am dismayed by some usability choices (transparancy, horizontal scrolling, etc), your work is truly appreciated
