[opensuse-kde] last nights repository update
Hi, I was just about to start an update when yast warned me that there was a problem. I did not copy the warning, but it looked like it was a checksum that was invalid. Anyone else see this ? Thanks, CPH -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org

What repository CPH ? Presuming that is KDE related update, there is still few repositories that can be involved, update, Build service KDE, Packman, and probably few more. I'm just running 'zypper up -r kde4factory' and there was no warning. -- Regards, Rajko -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org

Sorry, that was such an obvious thing to omit! The repos I'm using are : http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/KDE4:/Factory:/Desktop/openSU... and http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/KDE4:/Factory:/Extra- Apps/openSUSE_11.1 It's a shame that I did not keep a copy of the message. Also the logs in /var/log/Yast2/y2log is very verbose, but I cannot find anything about a warning, error or security problem there. I have only the first one.

It should be if you used YaST. Try to reduce amount of messages by filtering y2log like this: grep checksum /var/log/YaST2/y2log > ~/y2log-checksum or for faster access to output you can use: grep checksum /var/log/YaST2/y2log | less To quit 'less' press 'q' key. The rest of commands you can use: less --help It is listed using less, so to quit press 'q'. -- Regards, Rajko -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org

Do you have enabled Nvidia repository too? I got warning on its signature. I guess it is changed because now different man will compile Nvidia proprietary drivers. -- Regards, Rajko -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org

That's good. Have you checked y2log again? It should be logged even if it was transient failure. The other possibility would be that it is hidden in the newest compressed log file. Looking in such files is reason I use Midnight Commander: http://en.opensuse.org/Midnight_Commander To open/view gz, bz2, tgz, tbz2, tar.gz, tar.bz2, rpm, I guess even deb, files and much more you need one keypress. -- Regards, Rajko -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org
