Hello Robert, For SASL I have the following RPMs installed. alvin@linux:~> rpm -qa | grep sasl cyrus-sasl-plain-2.1.20-7 cyrus-sasl-crammd5-2.1.20-7 cyrus-sasl-2.1.20-7 cyrus-sasl-saslauthd-2.1.20-7 cyrus-sasl-digestmd5-2.1.20-7 I don't know if they are all required or if installing them will help. But it's worth a shot. Alvin -- Please reply to the mailing list.

Robert, Many times SuSE will separate files in the new KDE, so if you updated using YaST2 or Red Carpet or Apt, the needed files might not have gotten installed for everything to work. You may also find that some programs are missing you had before. Sometimes it's better just to download all the files to an empty directory on your drive and run "rpm -Uhv *.rpm" from the shell. That way you'll get all your needed files and many times some nice new ones as well. regards, Lee -- --- KMail v1.8 --- SuSE Linux Pro v9.2 --- Registered Linux User #225206 There's no problem so awful that you can't add some guilt to it and make it even worse! ...Calvin & Hobbes
