try zypper install rpm libzypp and then again zypper dup. we've changed payload format from bzip2 to lzma, and you need new tools to be able to handle that. -- RPMLINT information under http://en.opensuse.org/Packaging/RpmLint --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org

No , that's not the problem . I' am using libzypp-4.7.0 and rpm -4.4.2 which are the current versions with lzma support. And they fail also with the same error when I download them manually and try to install them with rpm and not with: Failed dependencies: rpmlib(PayloadIsLzma) And only these two packages from a download of 340 MB size failed to install. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org

Hello, I had, about a week ago the problem that after installation of kde4 (opensuse 10.3 64bit) neither kde3 nor kde4 did start! I've had heard from others, that on a 64bit System ist still a probelem! On the end it was a complete new istallation to get it to run! I think I'll wait for OpenSuse 11! Best wishes Wilfried Am Donnerstag, 10. April 2008 18:27:00 schrieb Markus Koßmann:

I think thats very far from normal, and you should have helped us fixing it by reporting the issue. can you still figure out if there were any error message in e.g. ~/.xsession-errors when you tried to login?
