Hi all, I recently bought a Teledat USB 2a/b ISDN external TA which works fine in windows. But I would like to use it under linux. After searching on the 'net I found that the protocol is still closed though the USB driver 'recognises' the device (Manufacturer: AVM Berlin). There is a serial port on this device. My question is: can i use this serial port (link it with /dev/ttyS0) and treat it as normal modem and configure ppp and use the 'net? Windows is not recognising the TA if connected via the serial port. Is this is the same case with someone who is using the same device? Can I hope for a driver sooner or later? I work with linux as primary OS and so I can't be without 'net access at home. I plan to buy an internal ELSA Microlink ISDN card which has a good driver in hisax module. What do you think? -gnana Munich, Germany

Your question has been answered yesterday. BTW: "gnana" - that's not you real name, correct? Try to buy one, looks much better. Adalbert
