Hylafax will nicht mit CAPI
Hallo, Habe Suse 8.1 mit einer Fritzcard! PCI CAPI und Hylafax im Betrieb. Die mir bekannten Updates sind installiert. Wenn ich über hylafax (susefax oder cypheus) ein Fax zu verschicken versuche, bekomme ich per faxstat zu sehen: Hylafax scheduler on tux.local: Running Modem faxCAPI (+49.xx.xxxxx): Waiting for modem to come ready Syslog liefert das: Nov 7 15:27:46 tux FaxSend[12650]: /dev/faxCAPI: Can not open modem (No such file or directory) Nov 7 15:28:16 tux FaxSend[12650]: /dev/faxCAPI: Can not open modem (No such file or directory) Nov 7 15:28:16 tux FaxSend[12650]: Unable to setup modem on /dev/faxCAPI; giving up after 2 attempts Nov 7 15:28:16 tux FaxQueuer[11819]: MODEM /dev/faxCAPI appears to be wedged Nov 7 15:28:16 tux FaxQueuer[11819]: MODEM WEDGED: bin/wedged "faxCAPI" "/dev/faxCAPI" Nov 7 15:28:16 tux FaxQueuer[11819]: NOTIFY: bin/notify "sendq/q2" "requeued" "" "15:35" Das Fax wird also nicht versendet.

In /var/spool/fax/etc/config (nicht: /var/spool/fax/etc/config.faxCAPI !!) eintragen: SendFaxCmd: /usr/bin/c2faxsend -- Karsten Keil SuSE Labs ISDN development
Hallo Karsten und Gernot!
In /var/spool/fax/etc/config (nicht: /var/spool/fax/etc/config.faxCAPI !!) eintragen:
SendFaxCmd: /usr/bin/c2faxsend

Natürlich AreaCode & SendFaxCmd an Deine Gegebenheiten anpassen... - -- Ciao, Gernot -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.7 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE9yoRgk997/GGeSeIRAjkhAKCR5tGD/E6sXsab6Pg9xwYoBcwy3gCgpkRh kjWeJYOmDTarIOxyM2sfu6c= =Z1K3 -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
