Hallo Ihr in der Liste, ich weiss nicht, ob ich hier richtig bin, aber ich versuche es mal. Also meine Fritz PCI DSL-Karte funktionierte unter SuSE 8.1 tadellos, bis auf ein paar kleine Macken. Seit dem Update auf 8.2, aber auch nach einer Neuinstallation der 8.2 geht sie nicht mehr. Je nachdem, ob ich vorher einen Internet-Zugang via ippp0 eingerichtet habe oder nur für DSL bekomme ich unterschiedliche Fehlermeldungen in der /var/log/messages. Ich hoffe das hilft, aber ich verstehe es leider nicht.
Das bedeutet das die DSL Strecke tot ist, genauer das die Karte keine Verbindung zum DSLAM in der Vermittlungsstelle herstellen kann. Das erklaert dann auch, das der pppd keine Verbindung bekommt. Als erstes wuerde ich mal die Kabel checken. -- Karsten Keil SuSE Labs ISDN development

Als erstes wuerde ich mal die Kabel checken.
Aber nach einem kleinen Reboot in das Betriebssystem, mit dem ich sonst nie ins Internet gehe, geht es über dieselbe Karte und Kabel. I don´t understand das. mfg Klaus
