Hi, I installed my PC with dual boot (Windoz 2000 Prof.) and SuSE 7.1. Starting W2K my Fritz!Card works just perfect! However starting Linux and executing the command: isdnctrl dial ippp0 I keep getting the following messages in /var/log/message At SuSE support the told me that the cause message E011C has something to do with our ISDN TK!? Did anyone come across the same problem! How did you solve it? Looking forward to some clues!!! ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Mar 19 18:32:28 linux kernel: ippp0: dialing 1 0W,,,,1056019951056... I guess the string is coming from some analog modems. W waits for a dialtone , is a pause command which is sometimes necessary (you shouldn't start dialing before you have a dialtone). I suggest: If you need to dial a 0 to get an outside line just dial 0<nr> without any additional chars. That works perfect for me at home Andreas
hi henne, which number is written in your /etc/rc.config.d/i4l.rc.config to dial out? (I4L_REMOTE_OUT_1) jens

hm i dont have a problem. Paulusberger E. Georg has the problem. i think you misunderstood something. Henne -- Hendrik Vogelsang aka Henne mailto: mickey@naturalbornkiller.de Fry: "They're great! They're like sex except I'm having them." # random sigs made with fortune
Thanks for your immediate replies. The solution was quite tricky. First I found out that the ISDN Fritz!Card driver as such somehow got configured twice. Secondly it was indeed necessary to dial like this: 01056019951056 That is: 0 = Amtsleitung and the rest of it is the number of our provider. Now it's just perfect. Regards Georg E.
