[opensuse-gnome] Pattern Review (Follow Up for Live CD)
As Magnus is away right now and there are some potential size issues for
the Live CD, I thought I would write a follow up mail with some proposed
changes in the patterns, based on:
http://en.opensuse.org/GNOME/Pattern_Review
The removals are proposed because we simply don't need them by default
for the DVD and CD:
1) gnet
2) fam-server
3) sabayon
4) pessalus
5) gnome-commander
6) gnome-keyring-manager (already dropped as a package)
7) ncpfs
8) pulseaudio-module-jack
The removals are proposed because the are pulled in by other packages:
1) cdparanoia
2) cdrdao
3) dirmngr
4) gdb
5) gle
6) guile
7) python-numeric
8) python-orbit
9) phalanx
Unsure removals:
1) sox
2) vcdimager

Looks good to me, even the unsure ones. Vincent -- Les gens heureux ne sont pas pressés. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+help@opensuse.org

I guess this might be necessary for file monitoring in glib2 (gio). It's not required by our glib2 packages right now because it's an optional dependency and it's being built without. I don't know if it has other ways of monitoring files, though I don't think so. -- Hans Petter -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+help@opensuse.org

I presumed it used inotify at the core, is this not so?

Looks like it can use both. I'm ok with the removal, then. -- Hans Petter -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+help@opensuse.org
