[opensuse-gnome] No meetings scheduled at news.o.o
Hello, We should probably try to get our meeting schedules noted over at news.opensuse.org. Anyone up for organizing that? Cheers, Magnus -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+help@opensuse.org

I used to do that. I think it's worth pinging me at the end of each meeting so that I add the next meeting. Else, I forget. Just added the next one: http://news.opensuse.org/2009/01/10/opensuse-gnome-meeting-10/ I wasn't sure about the time, though, so tell me if it's wrong. 17:00 UTC is standard meeting times, except for first Thursday of the month which is timeshifted to 22:00 UTC. Magnus asked last week if we would consider doing timeshifts every other week, and I'm inclined to agree with this idea because we do get excellent turnouts at this time. But it also poses hardship to those in Europe that don't want to be up late, plus evening rush hour time in the U.S. Thoughts anyone? -- Bryen Yunashko openSUSE Board Member -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+help@opensuse.org

Makes sense to me, especially since it makes it easier for european volunteers to join since it's real evening instead of "just after work" evening/end of afternoon. Hummm, there exist any number of apps which will "ping" you relative to a specified time frame, cron, gnome alarm clock, kalarm, and my personal favorite, tkremind :^) -- Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA HOG # US1244711 http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://counter.li.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+help@opensuse.org
