[opensuse-gnome] Adding drivel to GNOME:Community
Hi Jan, Do you mind if I copy your drivel package to the GNOME:Community repository? It was my mainstay blogging application before moving to openSUSE, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who would like to see it more widely available. Thanks, -- Michel p.s. might want to fix the Changelog entry -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+help@opensuse.org

GNOME:Community: Repository for any related GNOME packages, open for anybody, who wants to participate, with no connection to SuSE Linux releases. So feel free to submit there anything you consider useful. If you are not yet in the maintainers list, please send me your BS login name. -- Best Regards / S pozdravem, Stanislav Brabec software developer --------------------------------------------------------------------- SUSE LINUX, s. r. o. e-mail: sbrabec@suse.cz Lihovarská 1060/12 tel: +420 284 028 966 190 00 Praha 9 fax: +420 284 028 951 Czech Republic http://www.suse.cz/ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+help@opensuse.org

At that point I'm wondering about the opportunity to have a Community repository for each SuSE release that provide software that is Community supported. Similar to the "universe" repository of Ubuntu. That would allow to have as lot of third-party (Free) software available a single click away. This would end up not being Gnome specific. It is a question for another list. You could have a problem, if any package requires new version of any library. OpenSUSE splits to more groups (where the policy might or might not allow such update) and AFAIK one click will be implemented in another way. -- Best Regards / S pozdravem, Stanislav Brabec software developer --------------------------------------------------------------------- SUSE LINUX, s. r. o. e-mail: sbrabec@suse.cz Lihovarská 1060/12 tel: +420 284 028 966 190 00 Praha 9 fax: +420 284 028 951 Czech Republic http://www.suse.cz/ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+help@opensuse.org

Of course not! I still have a buildfix pending in my working copy but I'll submit it so you can copy it over later. Do you also want to take over maintainership of this package for the buildservice? Perhaps co-maintaining? I'm not that familiar yet with openSUSE. Thanks, -- Michel -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+help@opensuse.org
