[New: openFATE 311289] Let Dolphin open PERL documents in Kwrite
Feature added by: Christopher Yeleighton (yecril71pl) Feature #311289, revision 1 Title: Let Dolphin open PERL documents in Kwrite openSUSE Distribution: Unconfirmed Priority Requester: Desirable Requested by: Christopher Yeleighton (yecril71pl) Partner organization: openSUSE.org Description: Register Kwrite as the handler for application/x-perl . Test Case: Steps to reproduce 1) { h2xs -A -n Mytest; } 2) Tell Dolphin to navigate to Mytest . 3) Tell Dolphin to open Makefile.PL . Actual results 3. Dolphin is unable to find a handler for application/x-perl . Expected results 3. Dolphin should tell Kwrite to open Makefile.PL . Business case (Partner benefit): openSUSE.org: Note: this is only an annoyance, since Kwrite is eventually called when the dialogue box is dismissed. However, Kwrite is perfectly capable of handling PERL code and I can see no reason why it is not registered as a handler for it. Also, I am told that Factory eventually offers to install mousepad . -- openSUSE Feature: https://features.opensuse.org/311289
