[New: openFATE 309608] Simulations with Python: SimPy
Feature added by: Horst Köhler (horst_m_koehler) Feature #309608, revision 1 Title: Simulations with Python: SimPy openSUSE-11.3: Unconfirmed Priority Requester: Desirable Package Wishlist: Unconfirmed Priority Requester: Desirable Requested by: Horst Köhler (horst_m_koehler) Description: SimPy is a package for easy programming of simulations in python. It uses an interesting concept of reentrant threads. It supports discrete event simulations in a simple way. The concept allows to program and analyse the timing and the dynamic systemic behavious of interacting agents. This kind of dynamic simulation is rare in the agent-based community and the SimPy approach appears to be promising. Currently there is no pre-built rpm package for openSuse, so I add this to the wishlist and for openSuse 11.3. -- openSUSE Feature: https://features.opensuse.org/309608
