[New: openFATE 309913] YaST-Tool to correct Network after chipset change
Feature added by: Al Bogner (crystalball) Feature #309913, revision 1 Title: YaST-Tool to correct Network after chipset change Package Wishlist: Unconfirmed Priority Requester: Desirable Requested by: Al Bogner (crystalball) Description: I changed the motherboard, which had an other onboard-NIC. To get the network working I needed to edit /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules, a.s.o. The main issue was to change from eth1 to eth0. To exchange a motherboard is not an every day task, but it would be nice if this could be handled easier with yast. -- openSUSE Feature: https://features.opensuse.org/309913
