rm ~/.kde/share/config/khotkeysrc It thinks it has "e" as accelerator for something. Ciao, Marcus -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

You need to relogin to KDE afterwards. At least this helped me. Ciao, Marcus -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
Hi, hopefully this will end this thread: mark the following command with your mouse to get it into the clipboard rm ~/.kde/share/config/khotkeysrc open konsole paste the command clicking your mousewheel / middle mouse button press ENTER if you get a file not found message try this the same way: rm ~/.kde4/share/config/khotkeysrc logoff/login Other way all with mouse: System Settings Keyboard & Mouse Global Keyboard Shortcuts Defaults Apply Good luck Hans-Peter -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

My root password contains an undErcast E, so i am unablE to gt into Yast, or any othr root app.
My keyboard went crazy once, a bit like yours now. I couldn't get to virtual konsoles or anything, so I had to go to init 3 over ssh from another machine. Then I could log in locally to a virtual konsole and ran sax2. After going back to init 5 it was all good. So it must have been the X going heywire, the keyboard was all screwed up. Do you have that problem also without X? I mean is the problem the same in an X-session (GUI) and a text-session (without X/GUI) in a virtual konsole? Mine was related with X and was resolved by re-configuring the X. Yes i understood that, x-server, have had my share with x on many occasions.... ;) By the way Hans-Peter Holler gave me the solution: rm ~/.kde4/share/config/khotkeysrc logoff/login -- Enjoy your time around, Oddball (M9.)
