Well, that presumably was the state before the update. So am I supposed to use wicked or NetworkManager with the latest KDE? I don't care much either way because I only use wired network anyway, so I think NetworkManager would maybe be preferred?

WUT ? so /tmp is not writable or mounted at the time the SuSEfirewall2_init.service starts ? what's up with that ? do you use a custom /tmp mount point ?

I haven't done anthing since the installation w.r.t. mount points. So whatever errors you see were happening after something changed with an update. This particular error is no longer present however, it was some transitory occurence.
