[opensuse-factory] installation with vnc=1
Hi, this annoys me since I found out about vnc=1 installations: You can not use the usual Keybooard shortcuts ALT+<underlined character> when doing a installation over vnc. Am I the only one? Is this expected bahaviour or should I file a bug against installation? And which client do you use? HTTP browser or vncviewer? Alt+<underlined character> is a special feature of Qt/ncurses UI, if it doesn't work in VNC, it's problem of VNC protocol or VNC Client. It's definitely NOT a bug of installation (YaST) itself. I always use vncviewer from SUSE Linux (10.1 at the moment). Never tried a browser. But I can do that as a check.

So should I file a bug against vnc? -- Andreas Vetter Tel: +49 (0)931 888-5890 Fakultaet fuer Physik und Astronomie Fax: +49 (0)931 888-5508 Universitaet Wuerzburg --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory-unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory-help@opensuse.org

Same problem in http (Firefox from 10.1).

Well, when I start vncserver in the installed system, I can use Alt+D to delete a word in bash in xterm. So it is not a problem of vncserver/vncviewer alone. Perhaps between yast and vncserver?
So should I file a bug against vnc?
