[opensuse-factory] Can't not install OpenOffice or Beagle
I installed from ftp mirror 3 times in past 2 days. Twice I tried to speed up the install by deselecting OpenOffice.org. The first time I tried that I searched for OpenOffice.org and deselected that and the other 3-4 selected that contained OpenOffice. After that failed, the next time I searched for office, and deselected every package that contained that word. That too resulted in OpenOffice.org being installed (7 packages total with OpenOffice_org in their names). How does one not install OpenOffice.org? Same with beagle. I searched for beagle and deselected everything containg that word, but still I have beagle and libbeagle installed. -- "Let your conversation be always full of grace." Did you simply de-select the package(s) (empty square box) or did you taboo (round red with white dash) them ? There's no tooltip on mouseover or anything else I saw to explain what the red object means. Had it looked like http://www.signcenterinc.com/1.Symbols/1.Prohibition/PE_00.gif it's meaning would have been clear and I would have used it instead of a normal deselect (empty box). -- "Let your conversation be always full of grace." Right click on the mouse shows all options. See also http://www.suse.de/~sh/YaST2-Package-Manager/index.html

Sounds like a valid 'Enhancement' request for bugzilla ;-) Klaus --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
