Is there a possibility to install eric5 in Tumbleweed? In Leap 42.2 it is no problem.

regards, Jogchum The fact that the package you tried to install ask for python3.4 seems to indicate you're trying to install a made for Leap package. TW has now python 3.6.0 Perhaps you still have a repository pointing to Leap something ?

Otherwise trying to install on a TW with almost no other repository seems to work

or if you have KDE:Extra eric5 should be version 5.5.2-4.43 not the 5.5.2-4.12 you have ;-)

Thanks, that was the problem. I had a Leap-version of KDE-Extra in my repo set. Disabled it, now I'm fine.
