Are you sure you have the RPM with the fix? I doubt. Check the creation time of the CD with the date of closing the bug. Better solution is to check the changelog of the rpm. Note with bug number is always there. What does this command say to you? rpm -q --changelog sax2 |head Regards Ladislav. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

You're probably to fast (and imho to rude) in complaining. Check also the opensuse-commit list. http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-commit/2008-02/msg00351.html if you don't have sax2-8.1-349 (or higher) you're very likely not to have the corrected verision of sax2 yet. It always takes a short time from fixing a bug until you get the fixed package... Could you double check that your sax2 package contains this as changelog? Nope it did not, are there different pkgs at factory now?
The current available are 8.1-346, so still not the ones which you're actually expecting (as per http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/SL-OSS-factory/inst-source/suse/i5...) for i586 it could be that you can grab a copy of the final rpm earlier from the BS, if you have an account... but I'm not sure about that (never tried, but as i586 is now built in BS, it might be possible) I think they will come out in a few days... stay patient... and in the meantime: make a good backup of your xorg.conf Dominique --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
