Aw: [opensuse-factory] NIS/YP Login trouble after update yesterday => now ongoing trouble !!!
Is there no one from the release team or in this list, who have the same trouble? During this time, sometimes the again login to my user won't run!!! Additional, after each reboot, I must again deinstall and install the nscd to have a working login!!! What can be the reason?

Betreff: [opensuse-factory] NIS/YP Login trouble after update yesterday After the update of Tumbleweed yesterday, today the Login on my PC (with NFS mounted /home and User sharing via NIS/YP from my unchanged Tumbleweed Server), don't work anymore. After check of all Server Services and a login on a not updated client, which was working. I compared all infos and verified the LOGs.
"journalctl -a" delivers:
nscd[1454]: rpc: failed to open /etc/netconfig ... login[3865]: pam_systemd(login:session): Failed to release session: Interrupted system call
So I removed nscd via "zypper rm nscd" and afterwords installed him again via "zypper in nscd".
A short test on two deviating devices delivers that the login now runs like expected.
Is there any error in the update script or configs?

Did you try restarting nscd instead of reinstalling it? -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 42.2 x86_64 "Malachite" at Telcontar)

As you could already read on this list: disable nscd until there is a fix, this will solve this problem.

Restarting nscd will not help. The only thing which helps is disabling nscd as already mentioned on this list. Deinstalling nscd and installing nscd again does not solve the problem. It only works for him, since installing nscd does not start nscd.
