[opensuse-factory] Yast Software Manager crashing
Hi all, Since updates of last week Yast Software Manager crashes when opening, right after it has updated the repositories. Error in system logs: Jun 19 16:23:15 xxx.xxx y2base[1572]: <audit-1701> auid=1000 uid=0 gid=0 ses=1 pid=1572 comm="y2base" exe="/usr/lib/YaST2/bin/y2base" sig=11 Anybody experiencing similar behavior and / or knowing a fix? No such thing here. The error to me just says it crashed. What does 'zypper ref' do? Does this happen in Yast in ncurses mode? -- Gertjan Lettink, a.k.a. Hi,
zypper ref, zypper dup work, as does yast in ncurses mode. Cannot find
any other error messages.

Try running it with strace -e file or gdb. I had the same problem when oS 13.2 was released, never found the cause, but removing desktop- translations, if I remember correctly, stopped the crashes.
