[opensuse-factory] leap422b3 - unable to load new card deck in kpatience::freecell
Hardly a show-stopper :-) on a newly installed leap422b3 with kde, I am unable to find/load a new card deck for kpatience:: freecell. I think it say "No categories found". -- Per Jessen, Zürich (8.2°C) http://www.dns24.ch/ - your free DNS host, made in Switzerland. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

Probably kpat does not use store.kde.org to find the carddeck or store.kde.org does nor have carddecks (yet). A workaround is to get a previously used carddeck from ~/.local/share/carddecks/ on another system. -- fr.gr. member openSUSE Freek de Kruijf -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

Thanks, I'll try that. -- Per Jessen, Zürich (9.7°C) http://www.hostsuisse.com/ - virtual servers, made in Switzerland. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

I can see communication happening with store.kde.org, so it's probably the latter. -- Per Jessen, Zürich (10.1°C) http://www.hostsuisse.com/ - dedicated server rental in Switzerland. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

Well, previously it wasn't kpat that got new decks but libkcardgame.so that managed card decks and libknewstuff[234].so that dod the http stuff to places like http://download.kde.org/khotnewstuff with suitable cgi search parameters. Take a look at the binaries to see if the references are still there. Worst case you could use a network sniffer to see what the actual query is. As ever, look at "what's changed". -- "The top line is the value you give. The bottom line is the value you get. You could install the package kdegames-carddecks-other though, that will give you a few more card decks to choose from... ;-) Kind Regards, Wolfgang -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

Kind Regards, Wolfgang
Ah, thanks Wolfgang, the "Standard" deck is just what I was after. One very minor (but significant) problem solved :-) -- Per Jessen, Zürich (5.0°C) http://www.dns24.ch/ - your free DNS host, made in Switzerland. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
