[opensuse-factory] Pandoc in TW
Since a few (didn't test it the last 12 days) it seems that we finally got a "broken" pandoc package into TW. As a normal user now, it tries to write to several directories like kpathsea: Running mktexfmt pdflatex.fmt mktexfmt: mktexfmt is using the following fmtutil.cnf files (in precedence order): mktexfmt: /etc/texmf/web2c/fmtutil.cnf mktexfmt: /usr/share/texmf/web2c/fmtutil.cnf mktexfmt: mktexfmt is using the following fmtutil.cnf file for writing changes: mktexfmt: /var/lib/texmf/web2c/fmtutil.cnf mktexfmt [ERROR]: format directory not writable: /var/lib/texmf/web2c kpathsea: Running mktexfmt pdflatex.fmt mktexfmt: mktexfmt is using the following fmtutil.cnf files (in precedence order): mktexfmt: /etc/texmf/web2c/fmtutil.cnf mktexfmt: /usr/share/texmf/web2c/fmtutil.cnf mktexfmt: mktexfmt is using the following fmtutil.cnf file for writing changes: mktexfmt: /var/lib/texmf/web2c/fmtutil.cnf mktexfmt [ERROR]: format directory not writable: /var/lib/texmf/web2c kpathsea: Running mktexfmt pdflatex.fmt mktexfmt: mktexfmt is using the following fmtutil.cnf files (in precedence order): mktexfmt: /etc/texmf/web2c/fmtutil.cnf mktexfmt: /usr/share/texmf/web2c/fmtutil.cnf mktexfmt: mktexfmt is using the following fmtutil.cnf file for writing changes: mktexfmt: /var/lib/texmf/web2c/fmtutil.cnf mktexfmt [ERROR]: format directory not writable: /var/lib/texmf/web2c Error producing PDF. Did we have already a fix in the pipe (my actual bandwidth is very low to be able to dig into the different staging).
If not I will try to open the corresponding bug.
This is the sort of case where we would now prefer you to just create the bug rather then emailing this list first, if there is a duplicate the maintainer can clean it up quickly. -- Simon Lees (Simotek) http://simotek.net Emergency Update Team keybase.io/simotek SUSE Linux Adelaide Australia, UTC+10:30 GPG Fingerprint: 5B87 DB9D 88DC F606 E489 CEC5 0922 C246 02F0 014B

And I prefer this email because it gave me the incentive to think about extending openQA tests because I don't follow all bugs ;) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

And sometimes I also get the right advise about which product is it pandoc or tex and then which tex. -- Bruno Friedmann Ioda-Net Sàrl www.ioda-net.ch Bareos Partner, openSUSE Member, fsfe supporter GPG KEY : D5C9B751C4653227 irc: tigerfoot -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
