[opensuse-factory] Where can I file a bug report against bugzilla?
Hi, I have noticed that often the reporter of a bug does not add himself to the cc list and as a result does not know what is going on with the bug. Surely bugzilla should automatically add the reporter to the cc list. The reporter always gets the mails (in his Reporter role). What issues do you see exactly? Ciao, Marcus -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

Ciao, Marcus I don't see the reporter in the cc list a lot of times and I add myself to the cc list after opening the bug report due to not receiving mail in the distant past. I will check this again the next time I open a bug. Regards Dave P

check your mail settings in bugzilla - perhaps you disabled mail for bugs where you are reporter? You really should not need to add yourself as CC, Andreas -- Andreas Jaeger, Director Platform / openSUSE, aj@suse.de SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Markus Rex, HRB 16746 (AG Nürnberg) Maxfeldstr. 5, 90409 Nürnberg, Germany GPG fingerprint = 93A3 365E CE47 B889 DF7F FED1 389A 563C C272 A126

Andreas I've just browsed my preferences and all seems well, I will test next time I file a bug. It just seemed to me as if some reporters didn't receive bug mail. Regards Dave P

This is configurable, you don't get all emails by default. For instance, you don't get email for the reports you add, but you do for the reports others add to your bugzilla. - -- Cheers, Carlos E. ??? The reporter, assignee, infoprovider, etc. all receive bugmail by default. CC is for people who are not in the above groups but want to receive the mails too.
