[opensuse-factory] Strange updates in latest factory repository
I am updating openSUSE 12.1 B1 using the current factory repository. I noticed some strange packages being included or updated. bundle-lang-common-de-12.1-40.4 bundle-lang-gnome-ar-12.1-40.6 I do not have German and/or Arabic enabled. So I wonder why these are included. -- fr.gr. Freek de Kruijf -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

So I wonder why these are included. Someone must require a -lang package. So the solver has to pick one language - and picking arabic is the easiest way. The solver does not

Later on, it should also include the locale you have registered though as this will be a recommend. Do you? My guess is you do not have the two following in your install and hence the clever zypper/Yast is pulling the above bundle-lang-common-en bundle-lang-gnome-en Togan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

As a matter of fact I have the following packages stating with bundle-lang installed: bundle-lang-common-en bundle-lang-common-de bundle-lang-gnome-ar bundle-lang-kde-en bundle-lang-kde-de But strange enough no bundle-lang-common-nl bundle-lang-kde-nl I generated this system using Dutch in the first screen of the Live-CD-KDE (Beta 1) and later upgraded this system by replacing distribution/12.1 by factory in some of the files in the /etc/zypp/repos.d/ folder. The generation did pull in other Dutch translation packages like kde4-l10n-nl. Should I file a bug report? -- fr.gr.
