[opensuse-factory] Java license finally solved
Hi, As it's writting on different news places and in blogs of Sun Workers (http://blogs.sun.com/dannycoward/entry/java_me,_se_and_ee:), Java is now REALLY GPLed. The product is put under the explicit GPL v2 (not v2 or later) and can now also beincluded in openSUSE default installations. probably already to late for 10.2 shipment, but who knows.. maybe AJ has a good mood and brings it in? First half of year 2007 for making it completely open source is definitely too late for 10.2, maybe even for 10.3. Robert -- Robert Schiele Dipl.-Wirtsch.informatiker mailto:rschiele@gmail.com "Quidquid latine dictum sit, altum sonatur."
