I did replace "11.4" with "12.1" in all files in /etc/zypp/repos.d, then "zypper ref" and "zypper dup --no-recommends" (with recommends, it wanted to install lots of 32bit packages on my 64bit server) Worked well for me today. But I have only non-oss, oss, update and packman repos active there. Good luck, keep a backup :) -- Stefan Seyfried "Dispatch war rocket Ajax to bring back his body!" -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
Ok, testing :D

I make:
cp -rfv /etc/zypp/repos.d /etc/zypp/repos.d.old
sed -i 's/11.4/12.1/g' /etc/zypp/repos.d/*
zypper ref && zypper dup
Now, let us pray :D

Thanks Stefan!

I wonder sometimes who this 'someone' is who is being told to do so many things. He/she seems to be such a lazy ass - considering most of these things don't get done... Especially when it is about updating a wiki page, I mean, it is so simple, as easy as writing a mail! Tsssk.

No. This is not meant to be a general support list. opensuse@opensuse.org is for that. Only the most technical of issues are dealt with here. But since you are here. The answer and plain guide is on the website. Before you remove your 11.4 repos, make sure you are updated. Then deactivate/remove all repos. Then you add the 12.1 repos, and do 'zypper dup'.
