It's _normal_ debug output. It's painless. It's not because you did something wrong...because the package is built with DENABLE_DEBUG=On

I suspect 2 per key press, resulting that the file becomes *quite* big.

Is this a specific problem of my setup, or is somebody else seeing this, too?

I have a polluted .xsession-errors too. Fcitx records every key hit... Please open a bug report and assign it to me. I'll see what I can do to make it quiet.
