[opensuse-factory] zypper --clean-deps behaviour vendor bound?
Hi: zypper --clean-deps, (great adittion btw, candidate for default behaviour ;) ) appears to be vendor bound.. is that expected ? i.e a) install package X from your home: repository that requires a library Y from the standard repository, which was not previously installed b) run zypper rm --clean-deps X it results in only X being removed, and not X and Y. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

Certainly not. Michael?
i.e
a) install package X from your home: repository that requires a library Y from the standard repository, which was not previously installed
b) run zypper rm --clean-deps X
it results in only X being removed, and not X and Y.

No, it doesn't look at the vendor. If you need help in finding out why a package wasn't removed please provide a solver test case.
