[opensuse-factory] Language files to a package not found
Hi, maybe one of you has an idea....one package I'm building includes the *.po* files for language dependent elements. Up to now it was using *.mo files, which were detected by the %find_lang %{name} %{?no_lang_C} Macro in the spec file. Of course now the *po files are build but unpacked, resulting in an error. Is there a way to find the *po files with the %find_lang macro as well? Or do I have to include them manually (as I currently do)? Thx Axel

The *.po files should be 'compiled' to *.mo normally.. Installing the .po files does not really help, which is also why %find_lang does not catch them. Dominique -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

The .pot and .po files should go to the -devel package. - -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. Not really, no... they belong into the src.rpm only. The -devel packages purpose is to install stuff needed to develop AGAINST the package (libraries/headers), not to develop the content of the package. the .po / .pot files are the text variants where translators work in to provide the translations... very much like the .c files (which by the way also do not go into -devel packages :) ) Looking at my install, cups-libs is the only one bringing .po files Dominique -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
