[opensuse-factory] Factory Kernel alsa support not modular?
Just wondering why the factory kernels have alsa set to be compiled in instead of modular. It makes it a real pain to have to recompile and set it to module just so we can try out the latest alsa-git. Is this a oversight as I don't recall previous factory kernels having alsa flagged to be built-in. This is a side-effect of merging "fast-boot" stuff from Moblin. Major drivers including HD-audio are built into the kernel to boot faster. I personally don't like this situation, as it reduces the debug flexibility very much. Hopefully a post module-linking will be usable soon later so that these can be built as modules again...
