[opensuse-factory] Is it possible to renice the new thunderbird indexing
Hi, I think I like the new feature of Thunderbird, used to index all email. I wonder what are the advantages over beagle, or if it could use the beagle engine instead. But it uses a lot of CPU (much more than beagle), and I'd like to make it run "nice", less aggressively. Is it possible? -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. It also uses a lot of bandwith which is especially annoying while connected over GPRS/3G/UMTS. It's soooo slow because of these things. I hate it and if there's a way to change this behavior I'll try to do it. Otherwise I'm going to have to let him go. -- Vahis -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

In my case, indexing is local.

You can disable it completely in preferences. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 11.2-factory "Emerald" RC 1) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
