Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0". 0x22 24 dc 1 0 0 c . . 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 None The only (EE) line in Xorg.0.log is :- [ 44570.640] (EE) Failed to initialize GLX extension (Compatible NVIDIA X driver not found) Which leads me to believe that this is maybe due to my having an nvidia card that died and having to fall back to my mb's graphics. I've looked with lsmod and there's no trace of nv video drivers. Another interesting thing is from xdriinfo :- libGL is too old. I've googled all of these things and have only come up with nvidia problems, nothing that relates to intel graphics.
