[opensuse-factory] syslog-ng missing provider of libjson-c.so.2 dependency
Hi there, I'm trying to build an image with Kiwi based on Tumbleweed, and it started to fail with: DEBUG: system: Resolving package dependencies... DEBUG: system: Problem: nothing provides libjson-c.so.2()(64bit) needed by syslog-ng-3.12.1-1.1.x86_64 DEBUG: system: Solution 1: do not install syslog-ng-3.12.1-1.1.x86_64 DEBUG: system: Solution 2: break syslog-ng-3.12.1-1.1.x86_64 by ignoring some of its dependencies DEBUG: system: Choose from above solutions by number or cancel [1/2/c] (c): c ERROR: KiwiInstallPhaseFailed: System package installation failed: I can confirm on my production Tumbleweed system too that syslog-ng is not installable. Hi, Json 0.13 fixes for syslog-ng were submitted in the past few days (https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/563228), but it seems, that it did not reach Tumbleweed yet. It still has an old syslog-ng build: Build Date : Tue 05 Dec 2017 13:00:00 CET I suppose it will be fixed once the new build reaches Tumbleweed. Bye, CzP On 12/01/18 01:24, S. wrote:
