[opensuse-factory] Startup hangs after update to snapshot 20160629
A pre comment on the upcoming snapshot. I picked the snapshot from openqa and updated the system using zypper dup (from http://openqa.opensuse.org/assets/repo/openSUSE-Tumbleweed-oss-i586-x86_64-S...). I did not see any fails during the upgrade. On the next restart, grub started normally. Then the screen with "loading kernel..." appears and the startup stops at "loading initrd...". Nothing happens from there. Has anybody an idea whats going on there. Openqa look quite fine considering that step. Cheers. Robby.
I setup a fresh TW 0626 system, removed ucode-intel and upgraded all other packages to 0629. Now the system starts again. It seems that the ucode-intel update breaks at least my system. On Freitag, 1. Juli 2016 11:14:09 CEST Robby Engelmann wrote:
