Wait, what? https://software.opensuse.org/package/rxvt-unicode?search_term=rxvt-unicode says that "rxvt-unicode" is part of official Tumbleweed repo, so what exactly does this "Removed packages" mean? Oliver
Hmm, most likely it means that the package did not compile/test sucessfull in THIS snapshot and thus was not in the "image" of the snapshot at publish. This does not mean the package was removed from Factory or Tumbleweed. It was removed from the DVD - as nothing pulls it in anymore. specifically, this change seems responsible for it: ==== xosview ==== - reduce Requires: xorg-x11 (which drops in lots of packages) to the really needed Requires: xrdb (boo#954114) => so, xorg-x11 is no longer pulled in on the DVD (it was also listed as removed), rxvt is no longer deemed necessary. Before that it was actually just pulled in due to this provides: locale(xorg-x11:ja;ko;zh) (in rxvt-unicode) So, the DVD productions works as expected; it only includes stuff that is pulled in by direct and indirect dependencies (incl. recommends and suggests). Hi, Maybe changing the text on this automatic message could avoid the same question being made again in the future.
