Probably you will need list of rejected packages with a reason. So, when reason for rejection is solved package can be reconsidered.

putty is a very handy tool when dealing with embedded hardware. I myself use it to access embedded devices with redboot bootloader over telnet. The advantage of putty over openssh in that context is.. it automatically CTRL ^C the boot process - this is a big challenge with openssh! With builtin telnet of course - sorry, my fault!

Just to provide a definite usecase!
