[opensuse-factory] openSuSE 10.3 factory /dev/sda1not found
I wanted to test 10.3 alpha 2, so I installed it on a virtual machine (vmware). The install was successful, but after restart, it shows: ... resume device /dev/sda1 not found (ignoring) waiting for device /dev/sda2 to appear: .... not found -- exiting to /bin/sh sh: not job control in this shell $ ... The virtual disc is set as SCSI 0:0 I tried with hwprobe=-modules.pata but nothing happened. Any idea ? Hi Gabriel, this is known bug (not fixed yet). As workaround you can use IDE disk in wmvare. Thanks, I'll try first with failsafe to see what happen. Then I'll follow your advice. Regards. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
