[opensuse-factory] KDE SC 4.4.5
KDE SC 4.4.5 has been released today. It's the last update for 4.4 series. We ship KDE SC 4.4.4 with oS 11.3 and it can't be updated now due to features/version freeze (done some time ago). And I'm fine with it. I hope other are fine too ;) But... Will KDE SC 4.4.5 go to update repository for 11.3? Similar story has a place for 11.2 and we got KDE 4.3.5 (the final update for 4.3 series). The main target was update for SLE and thanks to that oS got this updates too. But now, what about 11.3? -- Pozdrawiam / Best regards, Mariusz Fik, openSUSE Community Member

Can be decided between the openSUSE Kde team and the openSUSE Maintenance team I think. There is probably no reason not to. Ciao, Marcus -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

I think the reason is called KDE 4.4.6... where do you want to stop? Till all the build service repos are in the update repo too? IMO people who want latest KDE, should simply get latest KDE from the repositories offered for exactly this purpose. Those that are fine with not downloading another couple of MBs are probably fine with KDE 4.4.4. But that's just my view, I'm neither full part of the kde team nor of the maintenance team. Well, are there any serious bugs in 4.4.4 which deserve an immediate fix? Werner -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

The short answer is very likely 'no'. -- Lubos Lunak openSUSE Boosters team, KDE developer l.lunak@suse.cz , l.lunak@kde.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
