Yes, it is available in KDE:Extra: https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/Extra/openSUSE_Tumbleweed/ Maybe we could (should?) submit it to Factory/Tumbleweed itself too. +1 from me (I had thought it's unmaintained. I'm happy to be wrong though...) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

What about luckybackup as an alternative to backintime? By the way, is there a "policy" which packages appear only in KDE:Extra and not in Tumbleweed? And how's that related to kphotoalbum? ;-) Somebody tried to submit it to Factory 10 months ago, but it was declined because at that time it looked outdated and unmaintained, it was still Qt4 based too. https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/491386 Meanwhile, a newer version ported to Qt5 is in KDE:Extra (since 3 months), but I have no idea what its (upstream) status is. The homepage doesn't seem to be reachable anymore.

Not really a "policy" per se. Though nowadays we do try/prefer to submit everything to Factory. Historically, KDE:Extra served two purposes: - devel project for (3rd party) KDE applications in the distribution - a semi-official place for other people to maintain/provide KDE related packages IOW, not all packages in KDE:Extra were/are created/maintained by the openSUSE KDE team, and those other packages were not part of Factory. Nowadays this distinction is not so relevant anymore though. I know, I updated the openSUSE package to 5.3 on Jan. 23rd after all... ;-) That was a reply to the question about luckybackup though. Kind Regards, Wolfgang -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
